DAP SANDAKAN support the call by DAP MP for Kota Kinabalu Dr. Hiew King Cheu for a state wide mass ‘silent protest’ on fuel hike. Therefore, I am asking Sandakan Motorist to participate in this silent protest as this will definitely able to send a strong message to the Federal and State government that you are not happy with their steep fuel hike by emptying the street or by stopping and parking your vehicles by the roadside starting from 12 moon for 15 minutes on the 12th June 2008 (Thursday).
If you are parking by the roadside kindly ensure you don't block any traffic flow.
Let show them the people are the real boss of this country.

所有驾车人士，请在六月十二日（星期四）中午十二时正起停止十五分钟。以进行该抗议之时，正在驾驶的人士，请把车停到路旁以免妨碍交通。维护大家的利益一起来抗议不合理的起价！

Appeal to all the drivers of vehicles, please stop all the vehicles from 12 noon for 15 minutes on Thursday (12th June). Stop and park your car at the road side and do not obstruct the roads. Together we fight against the unreasonable fuel price increase.
